Privacy Policy
MyWeeklyMenu— operated by ConsultraCloud.
Effective date: April 29, 2026 · Last updated: April 29, 2026
1. Who we are
MyWeeklyMenu is a web and mobile meal-planning application operated by ConsultraCloud(“we,” “us,” “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use:
- The MyWeeklyMenu website at https://myweeklymenu.com
- The MyWeeklyMenu iOS application (when available)
- Any related services we offer
If you have questions about this policy or how your data is handled, contact us at support@myweeklymenu.com.
2. What information we collect
We collect three categories of information.
2.1 Information you give us
- Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address and a password (which we store hashed, never in plain text).
- Profile information. Optional details you add to personalize your meal plans: serving size (number of people), goals (fat loss, energy, anti-inflammatory, etc.), dietary preferences (keto, paleo, Mediterranean, etc.), weight, height, and age (used only to calculate calorie/protein recommendations).
- Content you create. Weekly meal plans, custom recipes, weekly templates, notes, and any other content you save in the app.
- Communications. If you email us or send feedback through the app, we retain that correspondence to provide support.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Usage data. Pages you visit, features you use, links you click, time spent in the app. We collect this through Google Analytics 4 (GA4) with IP address anonymization enabled.
- Device information. Browser type, operating system, screen size, and (for the iOS app) device model — used for compatibility and bug diagnosis.
- Cookies and similar technologies. See Section 6.
2.3 Information from third parties
- Payment processors. When you subscribe to MyWeeklyMenu Pro, our payment processor (Stripe) provides us with your subscription status, plan tier, and partial billing details (last 4 digits of card, billing country). We never see or store your full credit card number. Stripe handles all sensitive payment data directly.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate and maintain the MyWeeklyMenu service
- Generate personalized meal plans based on your goals and preferences
- Process subscription payments and manage Pro access
- Send transactional emails (welcome messages, weekly meal plan reminders, subscription notices)
- Send marketing emails (product updates, new features, tips) — only if you opt in
- Respond to your support questions
- Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security issues
- Improve the product through usage analytics
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data to train AI models.
4. Who we share information with
We share your information only with the third-party services we use to operate MyWeeklyMenu:
| Service | What they receive | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase (database & auth) | Email, hashed password, profile, meal plans, content | Hosts our database and handles authentication |
| Amazon Web Services (AWS) | Aggregate hosting traffic | Hosts the website (via AWS Amplify) |
| Stripe | Email, billing details (entered directly into Stripe) | Processes subscription payments |
| Resend | Email address | Sends transactional emails (sign-up, plan reminders) |
| Mailerlite | Email address (only if you opt in) | Sends marketing emails |
| Google Analytics 4 | Anonymized IP, device info, page views | Helps us understand product usage |
| Apple (iOS only) | Device identifiers required by Apple's app distribution platform | App Store distribution and crash reporting |
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy. We’ve selected providers that publicly commit to data protection standards consistent with this policy.
We may also disclose information when legally required (subpoena, court order, etc.) or when necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the integrity of the service.
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We’ll notify you in advance and describe your choices.
5. How long we keep your information
- While your account is active: for as long as you use MyWeeklyMenu.
- After you delete your account: we delete personal information within 30 days, except where law requires longer retention (e.g., tax records, fraud prevention).
- Backups: automated database backups are retained for up to 30 days, after which they are permanently deleted.
- Anonymized analytics: retained indefinitely in aggregated form (with no personally identifying data).
6. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies for:
- Essential cookies — required for sign-in sessions and basic functionality (you can’t opt out of these without breaking the app).
- Analytics cookies — Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization enabled, to understand usage patterns.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies. We do not sell behavioral data to advertisers.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings; doing so may break sign-in functionality.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you have rights regarding your personal information.
7.1 All users
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Correction — fix inaccurate information through your account settings or by emailing us
- Deletion — close your account, which deletes your personal information (Section 5)
- Marketing opt-out — unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email, or by emailing us
7.2 California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
You have additional rights under California law:
- Right to know what categories of personal information we collect, use, and share

7.3 EU / UK / EEA users
Under the GDPR and UK GDPR, you have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, and object to the processing of your personal data. Our legal basis for processing is:
- Contract — we need this data to provide the service you signed up for
- Legitimate interest — for analytics, fraud prevention, and product improvement
- Consent — for marketing emails (you can withdraw at any time)
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
8. Children’s privacy
MyWeeklyMenu is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. International data transfers
MyWeeklyMenu is operated from the United States. Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required by law (e.g., for EU/UK users), we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other approved transfer mechanisms.
10. Security
We protect your information with industry-standard security practices:
- All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS
- Passwords are hashed using bcrypt or argon2 (never stored in plain text)
- Database access is restricted by row-level security policies
- We use reputable infrastructure providers (Supabase, AWS, Stripe) with their own security audits
No security system is perfect. We can’t guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
If we discover a security incident affecting your data, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do:
- We’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top
- For material changes, we’ll send a notice by email and post a banner on the site
Your continued use of MyWeeklyMenu after the effective date of changes means you accept the updated policy.
